H&Z was founded in 1999 as one of
the first South Asian Modeling Agencies in the United
States. The models of H&Z have been recognized as Miss
India America, and Miss India America Photogenic. They
have also featured in Bibi Magazine, various music
videos, as well as in an opening fashion show of the
concert of renowned Pakistani Band Junoon.
During the time when H&Z was founded, professional
modeling in the South Asian business culture was close
to unheard of. H&Z was dedicated to serving as an
institution and platform to groom aspiring models to
work as professionals. Since then, the founders
of H&Z have traveled to abroad and made numerous
contacts in the fashion industry overseas. H&Z was
ready to go full force and launch itself again in
November of 2006 with a successful fashion show in Dallas,
Texas.
Founder & Creative Director
Hira Tareen is the Founder and Creative Director at
H&Z Productions. She has over 7 years of experience in
the fashion and creative industry. She specializes in
styling / make-up as well as the choreography and
concept development of all the runway shows. She
personally works with each model to perfect the walks
and routines before each runway show.
Hira also heads the Web Design and Marketing
department of H&Z.

Founder & VP of Business Development
 Zara
Tareen is also the Founder and VP of Business Development
for H&Z and runs our New Jersey / New York office.She
has over 12 years of experience in the fashion and
entertainment industry. Her main role is to network
with clients who are always in need of new faces and
talent as well as South Asian designers who are looking
to do runway shows to display their latest collections.
Zara also heads the Photography
and Public relations department of H&Z.
